Climate Change Strike on Friday 15th February
On Friday there is a climate change strike for young people outside of County Hall. We teach environmental responsibility as part of our curriculum and pupils have been taking part in plastic pollution and paper recycling workshops across the school with Demelza from Devon Waste Education over the past two weeks. We are keen to offer the children a chance to make their voice heard on Friday without missing time from school. On Friday morning,we will have a talk about climate change, including discussing Greta Thunberg, and will be having our own short ‘’strike” outside of the front of the school with a banner showing our support for this vital issue.
We will then photograph and share this on our facebook page and website, linking to Devon County Council to raise awareness.
