We are starting this term by increasing the ways that we recognise the children’s efforts and achievements in learning. The Ide Primary School Excellence in Learning award will be given every two weeks in our celebration assembly to two pupils in each class.
These children are nominated by their teachers and in time we intend to involve the children themselves in nominating their classmates. The children will receive a certificate to take home and a trophy which they keep in school for two weeks, perhaps on their desk or in another chosen place. They will then be presenting the trophies to the next recipients of the award.
